Obama’s prayer
Oh Mary, did we find a hoot in our inbox this morning. A reader from Ohio (the land of bottoms) just sent in this Obama’s prayer seen on Aaron Martin’s site. I haven’t cried this hard since Greg did that clothespin scene with me at the Wrangler!
Our Obama, who art in office,
hallowed be they reign.
Thy socialism come,
from now on, in America as it is in Sweden.Give us this day, our daily handout
and tax us not, but tax the rich as we burden them disproportionately.
And lead us not to personal responsibility,
but deliver us from whitey.
For thine is the change, the hope, and the rhetoric, for ever and ever. Amen.
God knows we don’t need any taxes on our disposable income! Baby needs a trainer and I ain’t about to dig out those Buns of Steel VHS cassettes in basement.
