There is a wide spectrum in the political landscape, with all sorts of colors and subtlety. But there is one color that falls between RED and BLUE, and that is GREEN. And it’s one color that John McCain wears proudly on his sleeve.

His enthusiasm for combating the environment makes him special. In fact, some folks think it’s not an important issue, taking care of this planet. To those folks we say, “Poppycock!” and John McCain agrees. “The fact is climate change is real,” he said. “The debate should have been over.”

Global warming will be one of three key issues for his presidency.

Color us happy!

And as for the naysayers who minimize compassion for this very Earth, a quote from General George Patton seems apropos: “Watch what people are cynical about, and one can often discover what they lack.”

Homegirl Malkin can whip up a frenzy like no other, you know what I’m sayin? Every time she gets riled up I start clapping my hands like a drunk at the piano bar—throwing tips in the jar hoping to belt out some Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves. I love stomping my feet to that tune.

So I was just reading my sista’s site and it’s Obama this, Obama that, Obama savior, Obama hack.

Some attention is okay, but we all know that any press is good press.

I’m beginning to think that my girl may need to pull the reign on some of that jive taking place on her site, else people might get the wrong idea!!!

After campaign rallies, it’s Chuck Berry’s Johnny Be Goode. It’s not clear whether McCain himself is happy with the choice of songs. “I wish they’d play Abba,” he said.

While we don’t like the title of the article over at GayPatriot, we certainly threw a few snaps in the air for some brilliant observations:

…Many gay men and lesbians support this courageous veteran because we know he is sound on the most important issue of the day, the war against Islamofascism.

Indeed, we realize that that issue is particularly important to gay people, given the strong anti-gay bias of Muslim extremists and the continual persecution and execution of gay people in Islamic theocracies, like Iran.

Girl be telling the truth, and doesn’t spend too much time talking about all that jive about the same-sex marriage which gets confusing at times. But McCain isn’t called a maverick for no reason. We know, deep down, he knows where freedom starts, and ends.

So at the end of the day might not agree with everything Gay Patriot says, but we do share our love for McCain, and the cock!

A McCain presidency would transform the GOP for the better. Republicans chose a man who is driven by a temperament that inhibits him from resorting to the crass gay baiting of his peers.

It brings up many good points, but most of all the formative measures of a McCain win would prove beneficial to advancing equal rights for all, gays included.
